The Swaffhams Partnership

All parents and staff automatically belong to the PTA, whose aim is to foster co-operation between home, the School and the community at large with regular meetings, fund raising and social events.  Ever since its inception in 1966 the PTA has followed a tradition of being active, hard-working and caring.  Their fund-raising efforts have paid for many things including a new library, play equipment, computers and chrome books, books and musical instruments to name but a few.  Whilst being of great importance, fund-raising is not its only objective. Many of the events organised by the PTA provide an opportunity for parents, staff and children to meet socially, for example the Christmas Fair, Easter Bingo and End of Year Celebration Evening are notable events.

The PTA has identified the school hall as being a possible focus for our next big project, looking to support its use as the village hall as well as being the heart of the school where everyone gathers together.

The PTA is always looking for volunteers and fresh ideas. Please let us know if you would like to help us to help the school.
